Timdel’s Academy, founded by Iuleha kingdom's illustrious King, Oba Ayo Omo-Bare, in 2011, is a beacon of hope and inspiration for the Iuleha Kingdom. The name “Timdel” itself carries the legacy of our inspiration – Tim, in honor of our first Okumagbe, Oba Timothy Omoikhoje Bare, and Del, for his esteemed Queen, Chief Florence Bamidele Bare. As you step onto our campus, you are greeted by a majestic statue honoring one of the pioneers of the Nigerian democratic government.. The Great Oba Timothy Omoikhoje Bare.
Over the past decade, Timdel’s Academy has seen numerous changes, but one thing remains unwavering – our commitment to education, discipline, and integrity. After the passing of our beloved founder, His Royal Highness Ayo Omo-Bare, Princess Ido Omo-Bare stepped in as the Proprietress. Her leadership was tragically cut short, leaving a void in 2017.
In the midst of uncertainty, Prince Roy Ojie Omo-Bare, with a degree in Philosophy from the United States, emerged as the wildcard for the Academy's legacy. His deep desire to uphold the Omo-Bare legacy and his passion for advanced education brought new life to the academy. He rolled up his sleeves, engaging roles from teaching classes to driving the school bus while directing the staff to ensure Timdel’s Academy thrived.
Several years later, the academy not only stands tall but is one of only two Government Approved private schools in the Iuleha Kingdom. Timdel’s Academy offers an affordable boarding program and an international Mentorship Program, connecting our students with mentors worldwide and preparing them for scholarships. Remedial lessons have transformed struggling students into confident readers and spellers.
With approved exam centers for WAEC and NECO, we’ve opened new opportunities for our students. Thanks to our founder’s vision, we now have a vast compound for football and agricultural practicals, fostering a well-rounded education.
As the saying goes, “Anything Great can never be easy, and anything easy can never be Great.” Timdel’s Academy is a testament to this truth, a dream realized through determination, dedication, and the unwavering commitment of the Timdel's family. The dream to develop the villages of the Iuleha Kingdom is becoming a reality, one student at a time.
